Poirot watches the scenes unfold in silence and the next day, when the police arrive, Poirot tells them the assassin story and walks away into the snow. There is about 10 mins of the movie spent with Poirot shouting and crying and then Colonel Arbuthnot picks up a gun and says that if he’s done one murder he can do another and is about to shoot Poirot before his Ms Hubbard jumps on him and tells him that he cannot do what is not right. He shouts at the people telling them that they can’t take the law into their own hands and says that justice will be served no matter who the victim was. ![]() In the Suchet adaptation, Poirot gets very emotional. Sure! >! In the book, the people are all guilty and Poirot thinks that they are justified and let’s them off without a second thought. ![]()
